American juniors had an impressive run in Italy, winning seven of eight medals, two of them gold, at the 2024 City of Jesolo Trophy in Jesolo over the weekend, while the senior women won team bronze.

On the first day of competition, the junior team of Lavi Crain (Blue Springs, Mo./Great American Gymnastics Express), Addy Fulcher (Gastonia, N.C./Bull City Gymnastics), Jaysha McClendon (Scottsdale, Ariz./Rebound Gymnastics West), Claire Pease (Sunnyvale, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics) and Tyler Turner (San Jose, Calif./Airborne Gymnastics Training Center) claimed team gold with an overall score of 158.534. They landed atop the podium ahead of host-country Italy in second (156.100) and Canada in third (149.666).

Fulcher and Pease also secured silver (52.467) and bronze (52.133) medals, respectively, in the all-around behind first place Giullia Perottti of Italy (52.800). Turner was fourth (51.733) all-around followed by Crain in 10th (49.733).

In addition to their all-around hardware, Pease picked up uneven bars gold with a 13.800 and balance beam silver with a 13.350, while Fulcher earned bars silver with a 13.050. Crain also added to her team gold medal in Italy on Day 2, winning vault bronze with a 13.400.

The senior team of Dulcy Caylor (Spring, Texas/World Champions Centre), Katelyn Jong (Allen, Texas/Metroplex Gymnastics), Eveylynn Lowe (Blue Springs, Mo./Great American Gymnastics Express), Hezly Rivera (Oradell, N.J./WOGA Gymnastics) and Tiana Sumanasekera (Pleasanton, Calif./World Champions Centre) won team bronze with a 163.934 behind Italy (166.800) and Brazil (164.465). In all-around competition, Caylor placed seventh (54.133), Sumanasekera eight (54.100), Rivera ninth (54.034), Jong 12th (52.667) and Lowe 22nd (50.933).
