Chris Waller won a USA Gymnastics or NCAA national title every year from 1989-1993. He was an all-around finalist at the 1992 Olympic Games and took fifth on pommel horse, only one-tenth of a point away from the gold medal.
The 1991 U.S. National Champion, Waller, was selected as the 1991 Athlete of the Year by his national teammates. Chris was a member of the USA Gymnastics Board of Executive Committee and Chairman of the Athlete’s Council for 8 years.
He and Cindy, along with Chris’s former teammate, Jason Garman, founded GymJam (summer gymnastics camp) in 1997 and operated the camp until 2002.
