Dick Mulvihill

Dick Mulvihill spent 40 years coaching women at all levels starting in the early 1970s. The three-time Olympic assistant coach trained more than 15 Olympians from all corners of the Earth, making his career one that had a worldwide impact.

Mulvihill and his wife opened and operated the National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics (NAAG) in Eugene, Ore., where dozens of Olympians, Pan American, U.S. National, and World Team members train. Following his retirement from competitive coaching, Mulvihill stayed on with NAAG as the academy’s head coach.
