INDIANAPOLIS, April 13, 2018 – 2017 U.S. all-around silver medalist Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, advanced to the hoop final today at the rhythmic gymnastics World Cup in Pesaro, Italy. The event is part of the International Gymnastics Federation’s rhythmic gymnastics World Cup series. Competition continues tomorrow with the qualifying round for clubs and ribbon. The top eight in each event during the qualification rounds advance to the individual event finals on Sunday.

After two events, Griskenas is currently ranked ninth in the all-around standings with her 33.700. She qualified for the hoop final with a 17.200 and tallied a 16.500 for ball.  2016 Olympic alternate Camilla Feeley of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, is currently 12th in the all-around standings. She earned scores of 16.750, hoop, and 15.700, ball.
