Gymnast of the Week
Kameron Nelson – Ohio State

  • Scored a pair of event wins and career-high scores, as No. 7 Ohio State beat then-No. 4 Michigan
  • Won the floor exercise with a career-best score of 14.8000
  • Captured the vault title with a score of 15.050, becoming the fifth gymnast in the country this season to score 15.000 or above
  • Garners his first Gymnast of the Week award

Specialist of the Week
Tyler Rockwood – Ohio State

  • Scored a career-high 14.400 on the parallel bars, helping the No. 7 Buckeyes top then-No. 4 Michigan
  • Marked Rockwood’s first event title of his career
  • Earns his first Event Specialist of the Week honor

Freshman of the Week
Max Odden – Nebraska

  • Posted a season-best score of 13.85 to win the high bar in the No. 3 Huskers’ victory over then-No. 2 Illinois
  • Earns his first Freshman of the Week award

Co-Gymnasts of the Week
Nick Lester – Army
Freshman Nick Lester competed on five events for Army West Point, scored two career-highs, hit all five of his routines, stuck two dismounts, and led the Black Knights to victories over Springfield and William & Mary. Lester led the team on vault with a 14.45 and his 13.5 on floor exercise helped the Black Knights to a team season-high on the event.

Syam Buradagunta – Navy
Buradagunta recorded a team-high 54.2 points on Saturday at No. 1 Oklahoma. He tied for fifth on floor with a 13.6 before ranking sixth on pommel horse with a 13.5 and sixth again on high bar.

Specialist of the Week
Maddox Pabellon – Army
Sophomore Maddox Pabellon played a large role in the Black Knights’ win over Springfield and William & Mary. Pabellon captured the pommel horse title with a strong 13.85, posted the top score on pommel horse in the ECAC over the weekend, and had the highest difficulty score in the ECAC this weekend in all events.

Co-Rookies of the Week
Landon Benas – Greenville
Landon Benas helped paved the way to a big win over Simpson College. Landon got a PR on 3/4 of his events this weekend and secured his first event title on pommel horse with a 13.7.

Jaden Blank – Army
Freshman Jaden Blank helped Army West Point to a victory over Springfield and William & Mary over the weekend, scoring a career-high on floor exercise and leading the Black Knights to a team season-high on the event. Blank’s 13.8 on floor exercise was the top score by an ECAC rookie on the event over the weekend.

Gymnast of the Week
Khoi Young – Stanford
Stanford junior Khoi Young (Bowie, MD) led the Cardinal with a pair of event titles, winning back-to-back crowns on vault and parallel bars to help the Cardinal to a season-high and winning 416.350 at No. 11 Air Force (Mar. 9). Young highlighted an MPSF season-best 72.950 vault rotation with a career-high and NCAA season-high 15.100, followed by a 14.050 on parallel bars. Young also placed fourth on floor (13.600) and pommel horse (14.050). This is the fifth career MPSF weekly
award for Young.

Specialist of the Week
Nico Hamilton – Oklahoma
Oklahoma freshman Nico Hamilton (Grapevine, TX) won the floor title, placed second on parallel bars and performed his first collegiate high bar routine to lead OU to a win over No. 9 Navy (Mar. 9). Hamilton anchored OU on floor and posted a 14.350 to claim his first career event title. He set a new career-high on p-bars with his 13.850 routine and finished up by notching a clean high bar routine for a 13.000. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Hamilton, repeating from last week.

Freshman of the Week
Ignacio Yocker – Oklahoma
Oklahoma sophomore Ignacio Yockers (Tulsa, OK) won two event titles to lead OU to a win over No. 9 Navy (Mar. 9). His 15.050 on pommel horse was his second 15-plus of the season, and his career-high 13.900 on p-bars was better than his previous best by .250. Yockers is one of only two gymnasts nationally to score 15 or better on pommel horse twice this season. His p-bars event title was the first of his career on an event other than pommel horse. This is the eighth career MPSF weekly award for Yockers, including four this year.
