The USA Gymnastics Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships include competitions for Level 10 athletes for women, and Levels 8, 9 and 10 for men . A host city can anticipate a delegation size of approximately two thousand five hundred (2,500) people, which includes athletes, coaches, judges, and staff. The competition format includes two days of competition for the women and four days of competition for the men, which determines the All-Around, Individual Event, and Regional Team winners.

Hotel Update 2/8/24
We’d like to share some updates about the hotel arrangements in Daytona Beach for Development Nationals. We want everyone to know that we had initially secured a large number of hotel rooms for this competition. Unfortunately, one of our host hotels with 220 rooms canceled our entire room block due to damages and renovations from storm damage. Since receiving this information, we’ve been actively searching for alternative accommodations in Daytona Beach and nearby areas to make up for the lost rooms.
We’re still in the process of finding suitable options and will gradually add them to our list as soon as they are confirmed. For example, we’re pleased to announce that we have added an additional Holiday Inn property and La Quinta property to our list.
We encourage everyone to join the waitlist for our host hotels, as we will notify them if more rooms become available for booking. In the meantime, families are welcome to book rooms outside of our block.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate through this significant change in our room block. Thank you for your support.
