LAKE PLACID, N.Y., March 10, 2015 – 2014 Youth Olympic Games bronze medalist Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, and Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, won the senior and junior all-around titles this past weekend at the 2015 Rhythmic Challenge. Two-time World all-around finalist Jazzy Kerber of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, won or tied for three apparatus golds in the senior competition. The event was held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, N.Y.

In the senior competition, Zeng posted a 67.750 in the all-around to best Kerber, who posted a 66.450 for second, and Aliya Protto of Culver City, Calif./California Rhythms, who finished third with a 65.450 total. Kerber took the top spot in the hoop, 17.600, and the clubs, 17.500, and shared the top spot with Protto in the ribbon (16.600). Zeng won the ball competition with a 16.900.

Griskenas earned a 61.250 to win the junior competition, followed by Nastasya Generalova of Los Angeles/California Rhythms, 60.300, and Nicole Kaloyanov of Woodbridge, Va./Gymnastics World, 59.650. In addition to the all-around title, Griskenas won the clubs, 15.750, and ribbon, 15.250, gold medals. Generalova posted the best score in the ball with a 15.500, while Kaloyanov was the top scorer in the hoop, 15.250.
