TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 21, 2019 – Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Center, placed sixth in the ball and eighth in the clubs finals at the World Cup at the Gymnastics Sports Hall in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. U.S. based fans can follow the event tape-delayed at 6 p.m. ET on the Olympic Channel with a simulcast.

Russia’s Aleksandra Soldatova won the hoop (21.250), ball (20.800) and clubs (21.100) titles and teammate Anastasia Guzenkova won the ribbon crown (19.100). Zeng finished sixth in the ball final with a 17.550. Bulgaria’s Boryana Kaleyn took second at 20.400, with Guzenkova on her heels at 20.300. In the clubs final, Zeng earned a 17.950 for eighth place. Bulgaria’s Neviana Vladinova was second (20.250), and Ukraine’s Vlada Nikolochenko third (20.000).
