PESARO, Italy, April 8, 2017 – 2016 Olympian Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, finished fourth in the all-around at the Pesaro (Italy) World Cup today. She also advanced to all four event finals, which are scheduled for tomorrow. Fans in the U.S. can watch the finals live on the USA Gymnastics YouTube channel, beginning at 7 a.m. ET.

Zeng posted scores of 17.450, hoop; 16.850, ball; 17.250, clubs; and 16.350, ribbon, giving her a 67.100 total in the all-around. She qualified in third position for clubs, fourth for clubs and ribbon, and sixth for ball. Russia’s Aleksandra Soldatova, who won three medals, including team gold at the 2015 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, took the all-around crown with a 73.100 ahead of teammate Dina Averina, who tallied 72.400. Belarus’ Katsiaryna Halkina was third, posting 68.250.

The U.S.’s Evita Griskenas of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, finished 17th in the all-around. Griskenas narrowly missed advancing the hoop final, finishing ninth in the standings with a 16.200.
