INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 20, 2019 – The 2019 season will officially start for the U.S. Women’s National Team with its first national team training camp, slated for Jan. 24-27 at EVO Athletics in Sarasota, Fla. The 33 participants, who are attending along with their coaches, are a mixture of national team members, including the 2018 World Championships Team, and invited athletes.

High-performance Team Coordinator Tom Forster’s goals for the January camp are to provide assistance to the coaches, as needed, for athlete preparedness, and to embrace the team’s culture of disciplined, focused training in a positive atmosphere, including effective communication among the national team coaches and athletes. The national staff will assist the athletes and coaches as they prepare for a very important competitive season. 2019 has a number of international assignments which fit in to Team USA’s goal of providing more opportunities for experience to more athletes.
