KATY, Texas (January 18, 2023) – Twenty-six up-and-coming women’s artistic gymnasts gathered at Stars Gymnastics in Katy, Texas, January 9-12 for the first elite developmental camp of 2023.

Participants continued to work with National Team staff on skill mastery and fundamentals. They were also able to verify routines on each apparatus and tested their physical abilities to establish baseline scores ahead of the bulk of the 2023 season. Women’s program technical lead Chellsie Memmel was onsite to help with verification and provided athletes and coaches feedback on their routines.

On the final night of camp, the gymnasts took part in an ice cream social.

The January camp is the only elite developmental camp of the winter season with the next camp slated for late March. Attending gymnasts are listed alphabetically below.
