HUNTSVILLE, Texas, Nov. 18, 2015 – The U.S. Women’s National Team camp concludes today at the USA Gymnastics National Team Training Center at the Karolyi Ranch, an official U.S. Olympic training site, near Huntsville, Texas. The five-day camp began Friday, Nov. 13.

National Team Coordinator Martha Karolyi, who helped guide Team USA to eight women’s medals at the recent World Championships, including the team and all-around golds, will lead the camp. Karolyi said, “After a successful World Championships, the Worlds team is taking a well deserved break to refresh physically and mentally for a strong December camp. We are able to welcome some additional athletes to this National Team camp and begin working for the next competition season.”

For the athletes, this will be a working camp with no full routine work. The five-day camp will include verification of skills and combinations into soft or hard surfaces. All athletes attending the camp will continue to refine their technical execution, upgrade their dance preparation and participate in physical abilities testing.
