COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Oct. 12, 2008 – Alaina Williams of Amarillo, Texas/USOTC Trampoline Team, Mackenzie Kulka of Tulsa, Okla./Oklahoma Extreme, and Phillip Gifford of Colorado Springs, Colo./Artsports, won trampoline and synchronized trampoline in their respective divisions at the Stars and Stripes Cup, held Oct. 10-12 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Williams placed first in the senior women’s division, with Kulka and Gifford placing first in the Level 10 women’s and men’s divisions, respectively.

Williams placed first in senior women’s trampoline with a score of 97.30, and paired with Nani Vercruyssen of Honolulu, Hawaii/USOTC Trampoline Team, to win synchronized trampoline with a 122.80. Kulka posted a score of 85.10 to win Level 10 women’s trampoline, and earned a score of 107.50 with Alicia Powder of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, to finish first in synchronized trampoline. Gifford scored an 83.70 in Level 10 men’s trampoline and teamed with Cameron Heimerdinger of Colorado Springs, Colo./Artsports, to win synchronized trampoline with a 94.60.

Other champions at the Stars and Stripes Cup were: junior women’s trampoline – Jane Truster of Lee’s Summit, Mo./Twist n Shout, 89.70; junior women’s synchronized trampoline – Shaylee Dunavin of Amarillo, Texas/All American Gymnastics, and Brittany Caddell of Levelland, Texas/Acrospirits, 117.40; junior men’s trampoline – Jeffrey Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Ultra Twisters, 97.70; senior men’s trampoline – Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif./USOTC Trampoline Team, 105.20; and senior men’s synchronized trampoline – Michael Devine of Winnebago, Ill./J & J Trampoline, and Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Ultra Twisters, 109.40.
