KOPER, Slovenia, May 11, 2017 – Led by 2016 Olympic alternate Donnell Whittenburg of Baltimore, Md./U.S. Olympic Training Center, three U.S. men will participate in this weekend’s Koper World Challenger Cup. Fans in the U.S. will be able to watch the competition from Koper online through NBCSports, Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. ET.

In addition to Whittenburg, Eddie Penev of Penfield, N.Y./U.S. Olympic Training Center, and Donothan Bailey of Mission Viejo, Calif./U.S. Olympic Training Center, will compete in Koper. Whittenburg (floor, still rings, vault, and parallel bars) and Penev (floor, pommel horse, vault and high bar) will participate in four events, while Bailey will compete on three (pommel horse, still rings, and parallel bars).

Competition begins at 5 a.m. ET on Friday with qualification in floor exercise, pommel horse and still rings. Qualifications wrap up starting at 11 a.m. ET. Finals are scheduled for 10 a.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday.
