INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Dec. 6, 2011 – World double mini-trampoline silver medalist Austin White of Irvine, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, and National trampoline champion Savannah Vinsant of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, have been nominated for Male and Female USOC Athletes of the Month for November, respectively.

Vinsant finished in 10th place with a score of 98.445 at the 2011 World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in Birmingham, England. Due to the two per country rule, Vinsant advances to the women’s individual trampoline final and secures a spot for the U.S. at next summer’s 2012 Olympic Games in London.

On the last day of competition, White earned silver in the men’s double-mini trampoline final at the 2011 World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in Birmingham, England. Posting a final score of 72.800, White placed second for the U.S. behind Brazil’s Bruno Martini’s 73.300 and Russia’s Evgeny Chernoivanov’s 71.800.
