Eleven rhythmic athletes will compete for the U.S. at the 2025 Junior Pan American Championships and Tournament May 22-25 in Asuncion, Paraguay.
Following the 2025 Elite Challenge in Illinois, junior all-around champion Natalia de la Rosa (Woodland Hills, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics), silver medalist Dawn Kim (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy), bronze medalist Anna Filipp (Porter Ranch, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) and fourth-place finisher Alicia Liu (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) will represent the country in individual competition.
The Junior National Group of Alana Hirota (West Hills, Calif.), Nina Keys (Porter Ranch, Calif.), Ziah Khan (Irvine, Calif.), Leyla Kukhmazova (Porter Ranch, Calif.), Sasha Kuliyev (Granada hills, Calif.) and Katherine Roytman (Chatsworth, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) will vie for group medals.
In tournament competition, the U.S. will be represented by 2025 Elite Challenge junior 2012 all-around gold and silver medalists Valerie Magduke (Brooklyn, N.Y./Isadora by Matchpoint) and Varvara Poniatovskaya (Las Vegas, Nev./ Nevada Rhythmic Academy).
Competition will span four days and kicks off with two days of qualifying on Thursday and Friday beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET each day. Saturday, May 24 will see the first set of individual apparatus finals starting at 9:30 a.m. ET followed by group qualifications at 4 p.m. ET. Sunday will conclude the championships with all remaining finals slated for 9 a.m. ET.
