As American Cup descends on Nevada this weekend, U.S. athletes will compete internationally and domestically in artistic, acrobatic and trampoline and tumbling competition.

Acro Maia World Cup and MIAC

More than 35 American acrobatic athletes will compete in Portugal for the 2026 Maia World Cup and Maia International Acro Cup (MIAC) set for March 5-8.

Ten seniors will compete in the Maia World Cup, including 2025 U.S. women’s pair combined champions Sydney Padios and Willow Noble; 2025 U.S. men’s pair all-around champions Yaroslav and Vsevolod Ossolodkov; 2025 U.S. women’s group all-around champions Juli Williams, Carmelle Djoumgoue and Aubrie Cunningham; and 2025 Pan American Championships all-around silver medalists Roni Azerrad, Layla DeVaul and Ayden Rawls-Blodgett.

The remaining acrobats will compete at the MIAC in the junior division. Competing in the 13-19 division are 2025 U.S. 13-19 women’s pair all-around champions Sophia Robertson and Isabella Brookins; and the women’s groups of Leesy Sarria, Gia Calo and Dakota Martin; Jocyna Hall, Leonie Ouvrier and Juliet Hanks; and Alani Do, Awdriana Ornelas and Silver Weddle.

In the 12-18 division will be the women’s duos of Elise Maher and Gracie Deters, and Alina Rizvanova and Violet Froste; the three women’s groups of Brooklyn St. Clair, Ayana Williams and Maya Bledzki; Olivia Irreno, Danica Weinstein and Keira Ackley; and Alexia Irreno, Zoe DeShields and Miah Collazo; and the men’s group of Dean Miller, Caleb Hoffmann, Noah Alvarado and Joshua Hoffmann.

World Cup competition is set for March 6-8 with qualifications at 11 a.m. ET on Friday and Saturday. All finals will be held on Sunday, March 8 beginning at noon ET. The MIAC kicks off Thursday, March 5 with qualifying at 1 p.m. ET, followed by more qualifying rounds at 7 a.m. ET on Friday and 4 a.m. ET on Saturday. Sunday will see finals beginning at 6 a.m. ET.

WAG International Gymnix

Led by 2026 Winter Cup all-around silver medalist Amia Pugh-Banks, four juniors will compete at the 2026 International Gymnix March 7-8 in Montreal, Canada.

Pugh-Banks will be joined in Canada by 2026 Winter Cup floor exercise silver medalist Espy Chang, 2025 American Classic uneven bars bronze medalist Amariah Moore and Aulya Daniels.

The event will begin Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. ET with the all-around final. Individual event finals will follow on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET. Complete information about the competition is available at internationalgymnix.ca.


T&T Winter Classic

More than 1,200 athletes will compete at the 2026 Winter Classic March 5-8 in Springfield, Illinois. Among those set to compete are reigning U.S. champions Maia Amano (Honolulu, Hawaii/Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy), Kaden Brown (Herriman, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling), Leah Garafalo (Holmdel, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy), Ashley Matern (Lindon, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling), Ruben Padilla (Bluffdale, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling), Kennedi Roberts (North Richland Hills, Texas/Southlake Gymnastics Academy), Isaac Rowley (Allen, Texas/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) and Elijah Vogel (Longmont, Colo./Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics).

This year’s Winter Classic is one of three qualifiers on the domestic trampoline and tumbling calendar including the 2026 Elite Challenge and USA Gymnastics Championships that will help determine rosters events such as the 2026 Trampoline & Tumbling World Championships November 4-8 in Nanjing, China.
