As the rhythmic, acrobatic, and trampoline and tumbling communities converge on Tulsa for the 2026 USA Gymnastics Championships, American men and women will be in Colorado and Minnesota for national qualifying competitions.
Just under 100 U.S. women’s artistic athletes will compete at the American and Hopes Classic June 26-27 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The competition serves as a qualifier to the 2026 U.S. Classic and Hopes Championships July 17-18 in Hartford, Connecticut, and the 2026 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships August 6-9 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Among the notable entries among the 15 senior athletes currently registered are two-time Olympic gold medalist Jade Carey, who returns to elite competition for the first time since the 2024 Olympic Games; 2025 World Championships selection event all-around winner Dulcy Caylor; and 2013 American Cup all-around gold medalist and two-time NCAA champion Katelyn Ohashi, who returns to elite competition for the first time in 13 years.
Hopes competition kicks off the event Friday, June 27 at 4:30 p.m. ET (11-12 age group) and 8:30 p.m. ET (13-14 age group). Saturday will see the junior women compete at 10:45 a.m. ET followed by seniors at 2:30 p.m. ET. The competition will stream live on FlipNow.tv, available to annual subscribers and through pay-per-view.
Nearly 70 men’s athletes be in Colorado Springs for the 2026 Men’s National Qualifier June 27 in Colorado. The qualifier is the final qualifying event for men’s artistic gymnasts to the 2026 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships August 6-9 in Phoenix, Arizona. All competition is slated for Saturday, June 27 with two sessions beginning at 1 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. ET.
Leading the senior entries in the qualifier are double 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik and 2020 Olympian Shane Wiskus.
Results from the event is expected on meetscoresonline.com and ScoreCat.
Nearly 400 athletes are in Charleston, West Virginia this weekend for USA Gymnastics’ 2026 USA Gymnastics for All GymFest, with gymnasts taking part in the National TeamGym Championships, the USA Gym for Life Challenge, the Acrobatics and Tumblin Summit, and the Group Performance Showcase.
The action takes place Thursday, June 25 through Sunday, June 28 at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center. Gymnasts also will do a special performance at the Charleston Dirty Birds game against the York Revolution on Friday, June 26.
