Olympic medalists Hezly Rivera and Asher Hong will lead a 12-athlete U.S. delegation competing at the 2025 Senior Pan American Championships June 12-15 in Panama City, Panama.
Headlined by the 2024 Olympic team champion, the roster of Rivera, Dulcy Caylor, Jayla Hang, Gabrielle Hardie and Tiana Sumanasekera will aim for the medal podium in women’s competition. A Paris bronze medalist with the men’s team, Hong will lead the U.S. lineup of Taylor Burkhart, Taylor Christopulos, Brandon Dang and Joshua Karnes in men’s competition. Alessia Rosa and Junnosuke Iwai will be in Panama as replacement athletes for the respective women’s and men’s rosters.
Competition in Panama City will span four days and begins Thursday, June 12 with the U.S. men in Subdivision 1 for qualifying at 9:55 a.m. ET. The women take on qualifying Friday, June 13 in Subdivision 1 at 10:30 a.m. ET. Team finals are set for Saturday starting at 10:25 a.m. ET followed by apparatus finals on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. ET.
The Senior Pan American Championships will stream live on the Panam Sports Channel and live scores will be available here throughout the competition.
Six juniors are set to compete in the Peter Moore Competition at the 2025 London Open June 14 in London, England.
Ethan Cox, Kiefer Hong, Justin Park, Ty Roderiques, Hunter Simpson and Jay Watkins will compete for medals in the under-18 Peter Moore Competition Saturday, beginning at 6 a.m. ET.
