U.S. athletes won three medals abroad as rhythmic gymnasts from around the country booked their tickets to the 2026 USA Gymnastics Championships.

PK Montpellier World Cup

Audrey Johnson (Greenville, S.C.) and Ryan Abiang (San Jose, Calif.) turned in medal-winning performances at the 2026 Montpellier World Cup.

In Johnson’s first World Cup appearance since 2024, she successfully made her way to the podium, winning speed silver with a time of 39.01 seconds. Montpellier marked Abiang’s first competition representing the U.S., and he made a strong statement with his freestyle bronze in men’s competition with a 29.000.

Shea Rudolph (Boston, Mass.) finished fifth in men’s freestyle with a score of 27.100, while Brittany Durant (Walnut Creek, Calif.) was seventh in the women’s freestyle final with a 14.800. Active in qualifying speed rounds were Allison Lind (New York, N.Y.), who was 10th in women’s qualifying (59.30 seconds) and Roland Hannigan (Greenville, S.C.), 27th in men’s qualifying (33.15 seconds).


RG Portimão World Challenge Cup

Rin Keys (Porter Ranch, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) secured hoop bronze for the U.S. at the 2026 Portimão World Challenge Cup in Portugal over the weekend.

Keys took the bronze medal on Sunday with a 28.300 in a competition won by Sofia Raffaeli of Italy with a 29.250. Keys also competed in the clubs final where she placed seventh (27.550), and she was eighth in the all-around with a 106.050.

Natalie de la Rosa (Woodland Hills, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) secured two top-15 finishes in Portugal, finishing seventh on ribbon with a 26.900 and landing 12th in all-around competition with a 104.450.

In group competition, Goda Balsys (Northbrook, Ill.), Kristina Lee (Woodridge, Ill.), Greta Pavilonyte (Buffalo Grove, Ill.), Aurora Sullivan (Los Angeles, Calif.), Kalina Trayanov (Deerfield, Ill.) and Natalia Ye-Granda (San Diego, Calif.) placed fourth in the three ball and two clubs final with a 25.700. The group was seventh in the all-around (44.500) and eighth in the five balls final (17.800).


RG Elite Qualifier

Nearly 400 rhythmic athletes gathered in Naperville, Illinois, for USA Gymnastics’ 2026 Elite Qualifier. The event served as the final qualifying event to the 2026 USA Gymnastics Championships June 22-27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
