MAG Cairo World Cup

Patrick Hoopes (Lehi, Utah/U.S. Air Force Academy) secured a bronze medal for the U.S. following his pommel horse performance in the 2025 Cairo World Cup in Egypt. His 14.700 on the apparatus earned him a third-place spot on the podium, just behind Armenia’s Hamlet Manukyan in first (14.800) and Gabriele Targhetta of Italy in second (14.766). American Brandon Dang (San Jose, Calif./University of Illinois) narrowly missed out on a medal, placing fourth in the final with a 14.533.

Alex Diab (Glen Ellyn, Ill./EVO Gymnastics) advanced to final competition on still rings, landing fourth with a 13.733.


RG Tashkent World Cup

Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) and Jaelyn Chin (Aventura, Fla./Bessonova’s school) notched top-20 all-around finishes at the 2025 Tashkent World Cup in Uzbekistan.

Griskenas placed 11th all-around with a 103.900 overall, with Chin 20th with a 98.450. Takhmina Ikromova of Uzbekistan was first with a 112.250. Griskenas also qualified to two apparatus finals, where she was fourth in both ball (27.000) and ribbon (27.300).
