U.S. acrobats returned home with two medals from the 2024 Acro Rzeszow World Cup this past weekend in Poland.

Claiming their third all-around bronze this season were the women’s group of Mariam Tutberidze (Owings Mills, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer), Grace Vonder Haar (Laurel, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer) and Kayla Vonder Haar (Laurel, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer). They scored a 28.020 to finish behind Belgium’s Sofie Jaeken, Lauren Verbrugghe and Mirte Vercautern in first (29.030) and Portugal’s Carolina Marques, Joana Pinto and Eduarda Portela in second (28.510).

In women’s pair competition, the U.S. duo of Molly Fox (San Diego, Calif./So Cal TTC) and Katie Borcherding (Eureka, Mo./Incentive – AGT) secured their first medal of the year with all-around bronze after scoring a 27.880. Belgian pair Maysae Bouhouch and Silke Macharis were first with a 28.400, and Rony Cohen and Maya Velner of Israel were second with a 27.940. The women’s pair of Mo Arthur (Rolla, Mo./Mid America Acro Tumbling) and Ariana Katsov (Owensville, Mo./Mid America Acro Tumbling) landed sixth all-around with a 27.480.

Elite acrobatic athletes will be back in action for the 2024 USA Gymnastics Championships June 24-26 in Minneapolis, Minnesota as part of Gymnastics City USA.
