Three-Time U.S. National Champion Jessica Howard Scheduled to Compete

Indianapolis – Three-time U.S. National Champion Jessica Howard (Jacksonville, Fla.) and 2001 World Championship team members Olga Karmansky (Brooklyn, NY) and Shayna Javornicky (Queens, NY), headline the competition at the 2002 Rhythmic Challenge, February 16-17, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The Rhythmic Challenge serves as the annual re-ranking competition for Junior and Senior National Team Members. The gymnasts’ rankings will determine spring and summer international assignments. The Rhythmic Challenge will be held in conjunction with the 2002 Rhythmic Invitational, which features Level 8 and Level 9/10 Juniors and Seniors, and takes place February 14-16.

Thursday, February 14 – 4:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.: Level 8
Friday, February 15 – 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.: Level 9/10 Seniors
Saturday, February 16 – 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.: Level 9/10 Juniors
