MEDELLIN, Colombia, April 27, 2018 – Logan Gilbert of Paris, Texas/Texas Tumbling and Trampoline, and Zachary Ramacci of St. John, Ind./ Midwest Training and Ice Center, won the junior men’s synchronized trampoline gold medal, while Miah Bruns of St. John, Ind./Midwest Training and Ice Center, and Sydney Senter of Aiea, Hawaii/Hawaii Trampoline and Tumbling, added the bronze medal in the junior women’s synchro trampoline competition on the opening day of the 2018 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships in Medellin, Colombia.

Glibert and Ramacci earned a 36.450 in their opening routine. Then, they opened their second routine with a tucked Triffus to score 46.800. Their 83.250 total gave them the gold medal. Japan’s Rysuei Nishioka and Motoki Nakayama earned 81.910 for silver, followed by Mexico’s Victor Rodriguez and Kristian Cueva at 81.500.

In the junior women’s synchro competition, Bruns and Senter earned scores of 35.560 and 44.975, totaling 80.535 for bronze. Japan’s Saki Tanaka and Ena Sakurai took the gold with 83.400, followed by Australia’s Jessica Pickering and Britney Glazebrook, who posted a combined score of 82.130.
