SHANGHAI, China, May 17, 2016 – Dakota Earnest of Plains, Texas/T&T Express, and Shaylee Dunavin of Lafayette, La./T&T Express, won the senior women’s synchronized trampoline gold medal over the weekend at the Shanghai (China) World Cup at the Shanghai International Gymnastics Center. Team USA also picked up a bronze medal in senior men’s synchronized trampoline with Jeffrey Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, and Aliaksei Shostak of Lafayette, La./T&T Express.

Dunavin and Earnest clinched gold in the women’s synchronized trampoline final with a 45.900. Russia’s Susana Kochesok and Anna Kornetskaya placed second at 45.600, followed by China’s Yiqi Jiang and Ying Zhang (45.200). Individually, Dunavin finished seventh in the women’s trampoline final (51.490).

Gluckstein and Shostak earned bronze in the men’s synchronized trampoline final with a 46.100. Poland’s Bartlomiej Hes and Lukasz Tomawon won gold at 49.800, and Japan’s Masaki Ito and Ginga Munetomo earned the silver (49.500).
