Olympians and World champions headline the nearly 40 trampoline and tumbling athletes selected for upcoming domestic and international FIG World Cup competitions, including the U.S.-hosted West Palm Beach World Cup in August.

Santarem World Cup

Eight will represent the U.S. at the 2023 Santarem World Cup July 1-2 in Portugal. The delegation, made up of the same athletes who recently earned five medals at the 2023 Pan American Championships, is comprised of Nicole Ahsinger, Ava Hernando, Cody Gesuelli, Ruben Padilla, Isaac Rowley, Aliaksei Shostak, Jessica Stevens and Sarah Webster. Leah Garafalo, Ryan Maccagnan and Trinity Van Natta were named non-traveling replacement athletes.

Each athlete will compete in individual and synchronized trampoline competition. Qualifications are set for Saturday, July 1 and finals for Sunday, July 2. More information about the Santarem World Cup is available on the event website.

Coimbra World Cup

Competition in Portugal continues with the Coimbra World Cup July 7-8, where athletes will compete in individual, synchro and double mini trampoline and tumbling. The 8-person lineup from Santarem will compete in individual and synchro trampoline. Double mini and tumbling also will be contested. Jackie Kent, Dylan Kline, Tomas Minc, Shelby Nobuhara, Padilla, Kira Schwartz, Simon Smith and Rosalie Thongphay are entered in double mini, while Kaden Brown, Miah Bruns, ZaQuae Carter, Kaleb Cave, Dominic Dumas, Nastia Katchalova, Jill Papenhause and Thongphay are set for tumbling. Changa Anderson, Hope Bravo, Maccagnan, BJ Mensah and Aliah Raga are non-traveling replacement athletes.

Competition in Coimbra begins with qualifications on Friday, July 6 followed by finals on Saturday, July 7. Visit coimbragymfest.org for more information.

West Palm Beach Word Cup

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has awarded the U.S. a World Cup Series event for the first time since 2020. The West Palm Beach World Cup August 3-5 will again feature the eight trampoline athletes Ahsinger, Hernando, Gesuelli, Padilla, Rowley, Shostak, Stevens, and Webster. Double mini trampoline and tumbling rosters will be announced following the 2023 USA Gymnastics Championships June 22-24 in Tulsa, Okla.

Nearly 250 athletes from 30 countries are expected to compete at the competition in Florida and all information about the event is available at trawestpalm.com.
