The USA’s Ryan Ward and Kiley Boynton, both of Riverside, Calif./Realis Gymnastics Academy, the senior national mixed pair champions, and Bryan Allen of San Jose, Calif., and Brennan Atsatt of Santa Cruz, Calif., both of Aerial Tumbling and Acro Gymnastics, the junior men’s pair champions, will compete in the inaugural Pat Wade Classic in Stoke-on-Trent, Great Britain, Nov. 23-24, 2013. The event’s field is expected to include more than 260 gymnasts from Australia, Belgium, France, Russia and the United States and includes competition for the both senior and 13-19 year-old age group levels.

In addition, the age-group field has eight groups from the United States (six women’s groups and two mixed pairs).

Fans may follow the competition on the British Gymnastics website through live video on the Pat Wade Classic page. All medal performances will be posted on BGtv’s YouTube channel following the event. Live scoring will be available through the BG App, on the BG Score Facebook page or through BG Score on Twitter. Competition runs from 9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. on Nov. 23 (balance and dynamic routines) and 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Nov. 24 (combined routines); all times are local, which is five hours ahead of New York City.

The Pat Wade Classic is named in honor of the late Professor Patricia Wade, MBE, who was one of the founding members of acrobatic gymnastics and chaired the International Gymnastics Federation’s Acrobatic Gymnastics Technical Committee from 2000-08.
