INDIANAPOLIS, May 11, 2016 – Eight of the USA’s top trampoline gymnasts are competing in this weekend’s Shanghai (China) World Cup. Held at the Shanghai International Gymnastics Center, competition begins on May 14 with the preliminaries and wraps up with the finals on the 15th.



Representing the United States are: men – Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, Jeffrey Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, and Aliaksei Shostak of Lafayette, La./T&T Express; and women – Charlotte Drury of Laguna Nigel, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, Shaylee Dunavin of Lafayette, La./T&T Express, Dakota Earnest of Plains, Texas/T&T Express, and Clare Johnson of Huntsville, Ala./Matrix Gym, Inc.



The U.S. athletes are competing in the following groups: Group 1 — Jeff Gluckstein, Steven Gluckstein, Clare Johnson, Dakota Earnest; Group 2 – Logan Dooley, Shaylee Dunavin; and Group 3 – Aleksei Shostak, Charlotte Drury. The pairings for synchronized trampoline are: Shostak and J. Gluckstein; Dooley and S. Gluckstein; and Earnest and Dunavin.



The competition schedule, which also includes tumbling, is: May 14, preliminary rounds – 10 a.m., women’s and men’s synchronized trampoline and women’s and men’s tumbling, and 3 p.m., men’s and women’s trampoline; and May 15, finals – 2 p.m.
