INDIANAPOLIS, May 4, 2017 – Lee Johnson has resigned his position as vice president of marketing for USA Gymnastics to become the new CEO for USA Diving, also located in Indianapolis.

“Lee will be an excellent leader for USA Diving,” said Ron Galimore, chief operating office for USA Gymnastics. “While we will miss having him at USA Gymnastics, we wish him the best in his new role. We greatly appreciate what he has done for USA Gymnastics and our partners during his seven-year tenure.”

Johnson’s resignation is effective May 10, 2017. USA Gymnastics will begin its efforts to identify a replacement.
