SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 23, 2019 – At the conclusion of the American Classic, the USA Gymnastics women’s program determined the eight women who are under consideration to make to the U.S. Women’s Team for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. The women’s 2019 Pan Am Games Team will be determined following the conclusion of the 2019 GK U.S. Classic, July 20, in Louisville, Ky.

Gymnasts who were interested in pursuing a berth on the 2019 Pan American Games Team had the option to compete in a competition at the June National Team training camp or the 2019 American Classic in Salt Lake City, Utah. The eight women were determined based on performances at either the camp or American Classic and must compete in the 2019 GK U.S. Classic to be considered for the five-woman Pan Am Games Team. The process is detailed in the selection procedures.
