INDIANAPOLIS, October 26, 2021 – USA Gymnastics today announced the team that will represent the U.S. in men’s artistic gymnastics at the 2021 Junior Pan American Games set to take place November 25-December 5 in Cali, Colombia. The below gymnasts were named at the conclusion of the October men’s Level 10 National Team camp.

  • Toby Liang of Roswell, Ga./Roswell Gymnastics
  • Cole Partridge of Bountiful, Utah/USA Gymnastics World
  • Vahe Petrosyan of Van Nuys, Calif./Gymnastics Olympica USA
  • David Shamah of McKinney, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics

U.S. Junior National Team members Caden Clinton of Cypress, Texas/Cypress Academy of Gymnastics, Caleb Melton of Woodbridge, Va./Apollo Gymnastics and Fred Richard of Stoughton, Mass./Massachusetts Elite Gymnastics Academy were named non-traveling replacement athletes. Coaches accompanying the team include Adam Jacobs of USA Gymnastics World, Fellipe Mendonça of Roswell Gymnastics and Pavel Sargsyan of Gymnastics Olympica USA.

The inaugural Junior Pan American Games will feature the opportunity for one men’s and one women’s gymnast to qualify by name to the 2023 Senior Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. The athlete who captures the all-around title will earn this designation. The men’s all-around competition will take place November 26 with event finals set to follow November 28-29.

The U.S. delegation to the 2021 Junior Pan American Games will also include women’s artistic, rhythmic and trampoline gymnasts.
