INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 29, 2026) – USA Gymnastics on Thursday launched the second edition of the organization’s Creator Program, designed to give current and former gymnasts an opportunity to expand their experience and audience in the creative space.

The USAG Creator program offers current and recently graduated college and/or elite gymnasts in all disciplines access to six major USA Gymnastics events throughout the year, including the relaunched American Cup and the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships. Through the program, creators build their portfolios while bringing fans around the world closer to the action through their unique lens.

Last year, nine creators – including one National Gymnastics Hall of Famer – with backgrounds in women’s artistic, men’s artistic, and trampoline and tumbling participated in the program. Together, they produced editorial coverage, photos and videos, collaborating more than 60 social media posts that generated 280,336 engagements & 14,683,189 impressions.

“The Creator Program was extremely well-received by the athletes last year, especially with the enhanced authenticity it brought to athlete storytelling,” said former Athlete’s Council chair Alex Renkert, who now serves as USAG’s T&T Program director. “Seeing USA Gymnastics invest in athlete-focused career development while exploring new ways to elevate our sport has been incredibly positive for the entire gymnastics community.”

The Creator Program is open to creatives in the areas of Photography, Videography, Editorial Writing, Broadcast/Radio Commentary, and Graphic Design. Active gymnasts currently enrolled in college or graduated within the last 18 months, or elite athletes transitioning out of the elite level in any discipline are eligible.
