We remain open-minded about having some of the girls return once they demonstrate that their preparation level is higher.”
“I am excited to see the program is moving forward,” said Bob Colarossi, President of USA Gymnastics. “I have the utmost confidence that our current direction will produce the most prepared athletes for Sydney.”
USA Gymnastics also announced that Jeanette Antolin and Robin Phelps, along with their respective coaches Don Peters (Scats, Huntington Beach, Calif.) and Kelli Hill (Hill’s Gymnastics, Gaithersburg, Md.) were assigned to the Olympic Test Event, February 26, in Sydney, Australia.
