Serena and Cindy Lu

ESPINHO, Portugal – Led by sisters Serena and Cindy Lu of Blaine, Minn./Twin Cities Rhythmic, the USA racked up 10 medals (six gold, two silver, two bronze) at the 7th International Tournament: Espinho, Portugal on May 2-3.

In the age-group competition, Serena Lu won gold medals in the all-around, rope and ball. USA won two medals in the junior all-around led by Cindy Lu’s gold medal, who also won gold medals in hoop and ball. Lyrica Okano of New York, N.Y./Aviator Sports and Recreation, finished third in the all-around and won silver medals in rope and ball. Alexis Page of New York, N.Y./Aviator Sports and Recreation rounded out the medal count for the USA, earning a bronze medal in rope.
