CORBEIL-ESSONNES, France, May 10, 2015 – Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, won the all- around bronze medal, as well as silver and bronze event medals, at the International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament in Corbeil-Essonnes, France. Camilla Feeley of Lincolnshire, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, picked up an event bronze.

In addition, Zeng and Kerber combined for second place in the team competition for the Annual Souvenir Veronique de Kristoffy, which Russia won with the duo of Arina and Dina Averina.

In the all-around, Zeng finished with a 68.249, to land behind Russia’s Arina Averina (70.848) and Dina Averina (70.415), who were first and second, respectively. Jazzy Kerber of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, was fifth with 65.932, and Camilla Feeley was seventh at 65.165. Zeng’s individual event scores were: hoop, 16.566; ball, 17.400; clubs, 16.883; and ribbon, 17.400. Kerber posted: hoop, 16.783;ball, 16.683; clubs, 16.200; and ribbon, 16.266. Feeley’s event scores were: hoop, 16.766; ball, 16.133; clubs, 16.283; and ribbon, 15.983.

The USA went two-three in the clubs final and had two gymnasts in every event final. Zeng (17.350) and Feeley (16.900) were the silver and bronze medalists, respectively. The gold went to Arina Averina at 17.700. In the ball final, Zeng’s 17.450 clinched third, following Arina Averina’s 17.950 and Dina Averino’s 17.933. Kerber just missed the podium in fourth at 16.916. In the hoop final, Feeley was fifth with 16.733 and Kerber was seventh at 15.816. Arina Averina was the champion at 17.866. Zeng missed the ribbon bronze medal, finishing fourth at 16.966, and Kerber was eighth (16.050). Arina and Dina Averina both earned a 17.766, with Arina getting the gold on the tie breaker.
