What’s New for the 2024-2025 USAG Membership Season

U110: U.S. Center for SafeSport Core Course Expiration:
USA Gymnastics will continue implementing the following U110: U.S. Center for SafeSport expiration date cycle, in order to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport’s annual certification requirement for all adult members of U.S. sport’s national governing bodies, including USA Gymnastics. U110 training will be issued using the following calendar:

• Members who complete the U110: U.S. Center for SafeSport course from June 11, 2024, through July 31, 2024, will have a course expiration of December 31, 2024, requiring them to complete the course two times within the season to remain active.
• Members who complete the U110: U.S. Center for SafeSport course from August 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025, will have a course expiration of July 31, 2025, only having to complete the course once within the season.

USA Gymnastics encourages adult members who do not need sanctioned event access and will not be in direct contact with minors at a sanctioned event before August 1, 2024, to wait to renew their U110: SafeSport training until on or after August 1.

Member Club Updates & Reminders:
Per the Terms and Conditions of membership, Member Clubs and organizations must maintain comprehensive general liability insurance and conduct criminal background check screening on persons over 18 with access or authority over minors.

For the upcoming 2024-25 season, Clubs and organizations will be required to provide specific information on their insurance carrier and background check screening provider to ensure compliance with these requirements.

Sanction Updates:

• USA Gymnastics has a new feature available to Meet Directors that will greatly simplify steps a Meet Director takes to close a sanctioned event. Meet Directors and Sanction Administrators are now able to upload the required sanction forms to the USA Gymnastics website at the conclusion of the event, rather than emailing or mailing the forms.   • Helpful Uploading Tips:
    • Acceptable upload file formats are PDF, JPF or PNG.
    • There is a 5MB file size limit on each upload.
    • Scanning tips for various devices.

Online Registration Reminders:

• Parents/guardians must log in to the USA Gymnastics website with their own username and password to register or renew their children’s membership.
• All adult (18+) members are responsible for logging in to the USA Gymnastics website with their username and password to register/renew their membership and complete any educational courses.

2024-2025 Membership Dues:

*Competitive Coaches, Judges, Meet Directors, and Organization Owners/Managing Directors will only need to pay one membership fee; they will not need to pay a separate membership fee for each role they select. As an example, if the individual is both a competitive coach and a judge, they will only be charged one fee of $99.
