T&T Judges Education Now Offered Online

USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling program thrilled to announce the official release of all Category 3 Introductory Judges Courses and the Category 2 Written Theory Exams for all disciplines—now available online!

Judges can now study, prepare and take these courses from the privacy and comfort of their own homes, using a schedule that works best for them. This flexible, self-paced format makes it easier than ever to begin or continue your journey in judging, with high-quality educational resources available at your fingertips.

Recommend downloading both well BEFORE the exam to allow time to address any questions or technical difficulties. This is the text used in the exam instructions:
You cannot take this exam on any other browser – you must use Google Chrome only. Open Google Chrome and follow the following steps.

• Install/Open Google Chrome and check for available updates. The exam will perform best in the most up to date version.
• Install the Synap Google Chrome plugin. please click here to get the plugin, or copy and paste the link below into your browser to install Chrome plugin: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/synoptic/ablllcpeboaekooacnnpbiahlcekijon
• Once on the plugin page, click the blue Add to Chrome button on the right side.
• If you get a pop-up window, click Add Extension. At this point, the extension has been installed.
• Click the puzzle piece at the top right of your browser.
• Click the pin next to Synoptic.
• The extension will not run until you access the exam.

The extension requires access to your screen and camera in order to proctor the exam. To check your permissions, follow the steps below before starting the exam.

Mac:

1. Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
2. Click Screen & System Audio Recording.
3. For Chrome, turn the ability to record on or off.

Windows:

Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera
