The Women’s Program recognizes that the recent bar settings rule approved during the May 2025 committee meetings has raised important questions and concerns from the WAG community. We remain firmly committed to maintaining transparency and upholding the highest standards of athlete safety.
We understand that some aspects of the new rule have led to confusion, particularly due to conflicting information. Our goal is to provide clarity and ensure that all athletes, coaches, and clubs have a consistent understanding of the requirements.
We have reviewed the concerns raised and have been in communication with the Development Program committee on voting to reverse this rule change to reflect what is currently issued in the R&P. For the 2025-2026 season, there is NO REQUIRMENT FOR THE FRONT SLIDER TO BE FIXED. You can find those minutes HERE.
