Livermore, California, January 6, 2022 – Today, the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation (AGF) announced that it will be awarding up to $20,000 in grants for the 2022 competition season. AGF will be accepting applications until February 15, 2022. The AGF established the grant program to provide financial support to qualifying U.S. acrobatic gymnasts. The AGF is proud to continue its commitment to the success of acrobatic gymnasts through needs-based financial assistance to help athletes train and compete. Former acrobatic gymnastics World Champion and AGF founder Kristin Allen commented, “The AGF is excited to launch our largest grant program to date. I am so grateful to the community for supporting our efforts and allowing us to give to more athletes than ever before.” Since 2016, the AGF has awarded over $55,000 to athletes ranging from Level 6 through Senior Elite to help fund regular training, competition wear, travel expenses, etc., for the athletes who need it the most.

The Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation, a 501(c)(3), is the only national non-profit organization focused on the sport of acrobatic gymnastics. Funds are raised through several AGF programs, including the popular #iheartacro Bash at the USA Gymnastics Championships event, private donations, and the sale of #iheartacro gear.
