ASUNCIÓN, Par. (May 31, 2025) – Rin Keys (Porter Ranch, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) won all-around gold while Megan Chu (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) and the Senior National Group each claimed medals Saturday evening at the 2025 Senior Pan American Championships.
Keys clinched the all-around title among individuals, topping the podium with a 116.050 nearly three points clear of Brazilians Barbara Domingos in second (113.400) and Geovanna Santos in third (112.650). Fellow American Chu landed just off the podium in fourth with a 112.500.
The duo of Keys and Chu also earned team gold following their qualifying performances. The Americans posted a 228.550 to win the team title ahead of Brazil (226.050) and Canada (195.400).
The Senior National Group of Goda Balsys (Northbrook, Ill.), Anabella Hantov (Northfield, Ill.), Greta Pavilonyte (Buffalo Grove, Ill.), Anastasia Slipets (Wyckoff, N.J.), Alaini Spata (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) and Natalia Ye-Granda (San Diego, Calif.) secured all-around bronze in group competition with a 41.200. Brazil was first with a 47.000 and Canada second with a 41.200.
Ahead of apparatus finals on Sunday, the U.S. delegation all secured their spots on the start lists. Keys was top qualifier on clubs (28.950) and ribbon (28.800) while Chu qualified second on clubs (28.450) and fourth on ribbon (27.550). In group competition, Balsys, Pavilonyte, Slipets, Spata and Ye-Granda qualified to the three balls and two hoops final in third with a 22.150.
The championships conclude Sunday with all individual events finals beginning at 9 a.m. ET with fans able to follow along through live scoring and streaming.
