ASUNCIÓN, Par. (May 23, 2025) – Natalie De la Rosa (Woodland Hills, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) won all-around gold as the U.S. collected four medals Friday at the 2025 Junior Pan Am Championships in Paraguay.

De la Rosa was best of the juniors, winning all-around gold with an overall score of 102.900. Her total was helped by top performances on clubs (26.400) and ribbon (24.550), earning her the No.1 qualifying spot on those apparatus. Teammate Dawn Kim (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) claimed the all-around silver medal after scoring a 97.350.

The U.S. also swept the Pan Am team titles, with De la Rosa, Kim, Alicia Liu (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) and Anna Filipp (Porter Ranch, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) winning team gold (252.000) taking the Championship division and Varvara Poniatovskaya (Las Vegas, Nev./ Nevada Rhythmic Academy) and Valerie Magduke (Brooklyn, N.Y./Isadora by Matchpoint) claiming the 13-year-old team title (90.850) in the Tournament.

Americans continued to qualify to finals competition on Friday, with both Filipp and Liu qualifying second on clubs (25.950) and ribbon (24.500), respectively, and Magduke taking the top qualifying spot on ribbon (23.850) and fourth on clubs (20.650) in the Tournament.

The Junior National Group of Alana Hirota (West Hills, Calif.), Nina Keys (Porter Ranch, Calif.), Ziah Khan (Irvine, Calif.), Leyla Kukhmazova (Porter Ranch, Calif.) and Sasha Kuliyev (Granada hills, Calif.) also was in action Friday, qualifying to the five hoops final in second with a score of 23.950.

The Pan Am Championships and Tournament continues Saturday, May 24 with the crowning of the group all-around champion, individual apparatus finals and the last of qualifications. All scores are available here and competition streams live on the UPAG PAGU YouTube channel.
