RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (June 6, 2026) – Every member of the U.S. delegation won medals Saturday at the 2026 Rhythmic Pan American Championships, claiming three silver and one bronze in individual all-around, group all-around, and team competition.

Megan Chu (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) and Natalie de la Rosa (Woodland Hills, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) held their positions Saturday, winning individual all-around silver and bronze, respectively, and team bronze.

Chu and De la Rosa were second and third after Friday’s hoop and ball, and both held their positions after clubs and ribbon Saturday as Chu won all-around silver with a 110.350, followed by De la Rosa in third with a 109.900. Barbara Domingos of Brazil won the competition with a 111.700. The American duo also earned team silver with a combined score of 220.250, just .150 behind first-place Brazil (220.400) and ahead of Canada in third (192.400).

De la Rosa was the top qualifier Saturday on clubs with an impressive 28.300 and locked the second qualifying spot on ribbon with a 28.200. Chu advanced to the clubs final in second behind De la Rosa with a 28.150 and will compete in the clubs final after qualifying fourth (28.050).

The U.S. group of Goda Balsys (Northbrook, Ill.), Kristina Lee (Woodridge, Ill.), Alaini Spata (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), Aurora Sullivan (Los Angeles, Calif.), Kalina Trayanov (Deerfield, Ill.) and Natalia Ye-Granda (San Diego, Calif.) added to the American silver-medal haul, placing second in the group all-around. They earned a score of 25.100 on three hoops and two clubs to advance to the apparatus final in second position and to bring their two-day total to 49.050. Brazil won the competition with a 57.450, while Mexico took the bronze with a 47.950.
