INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 6, 2025) – The U.S. rhythmic program on Thursday announced the gymnasts designated to represent the country internationally this spring.
Both juniors and seniors will be active this March, including a showing from the new Senior National Group.
Schmiden International Tournament
2025 Rhythmic Challenge clubs silver medalist Yana Golovan and 2024 Senior Pan American Championships team silver medalist Alexandria Kautzman will represent the seniors at the 2025 Schmiden International Tournament March 15-16 in Germany. They will be joined by 2025 Rhythmic Challenge junior all-around champion Alicia Liu and 2025 Rhythmic Challenge junior clubs champion Natalia de la Rosa, who will compete as a junior team.
Aphrodite Cup
Golovan, De la Rosa and Liu will continue in Europe for the 2025 Aphrodite Cup March 21-23 in Palaio Faliro, Greece. 2025 Rhythmic Challenge hoop silver medalist Ruby Freshwater, 2024 U.S. ball bronze medalist Ksenia Pototski, 2024 U.S. ribbon bronze medalist Sarah Mariotti and Isabel Borges will round out the senior roster, while 2025 Rhythmic Challenge junior all-around bronze medalist Dawn Kim, 2025 Rhythmic Challenge junior ribbon bronze medalist Josephine Weber and 2025 Rhythmic Invitational junior all-around champion Anna Filipp will compete as juniors. The group from Burlo Gymnastics of Sasha Kuliyev, Nina Keys, Leyla Kukhmazova, Alana Hirota, Ziah Khan and Katherine Roytman will compete in junior group.
Marbella/Thiais Grand Prix
Two-time Olympian Evita Griskenas will return to the international stage at the 2025 Marbella Grand Prix March 21-23 in Spain alongside 2025 Tartu Grand Prix ribbon champion Megan Chu.
The following weekend, 2025 Rhythmic Challenge clubs silver medalist Jaelyn Chin will be in action at in the 2025 Thiais Grand Prix March 29-30 in Paris, France.
Friendship Cup
The Senior National Group members will be in The Netherlands March 29-30 for the 2025 Friendship Cup in Alkmaar. The group includes Goda Balsys, Anabella Hantov, Greta Pavilonyte, Alaini Spata, Kalina Trayanov, Anastasia Slipets, Deanna Georgieva, Kristina Lee, Elizabeth Semenova and Natalia Ye-Granda. Lorelei D’Angelo will attend as a traveling replacement athlete.
Sofia/Baku/Tashkent World Cups
Reigning U.S. and Rhythmic Challenge all-around champion Rin Keys vies for titles at the 2025 Sofia World Cup April 4-6 in Bulgaria. She will be joined by Chu in individual competition, while Balsys, Hantov, Pavilonyte, Slipets, Spata and Trayanov will compete as a group.
Later, Rin Keys and the group will land in Azerbaijan for the 2025 Baku World Cup April 18-20 where they will be joined by Kautzman for individual competition.
At the end of April, Chin and Griskenas will compete in the 2025 Tashkent World Cup April 25-27 in Uzbekistan.
Shining Star International Tournament
Americans will continue in Tashkent at the 2025 Shining Star International Tournament May 3-4 with De la Rosa, Filipp and the junior Burlo Gymnastics group of Kuliyev, Nina Keys, Kukhmazova, Hirota, Khan and Roytman competing as a junior team.
Portimão World Challenge Cup/International Tournament
Borges, Freshwater, Pototski and Mariotti will all head back overseas to compete at the 2025 Portimão International Tournament May 2-4 in Portugal. In junior competition, Liu and Kim will perform together as a team, while Weber and 2025 Rhythmic Invitational junior all-around silver medalist Aurora Sullivan will do the same.
The following week in Portugal, Rin Keys and Chu will compete as individuals at the 2025 Portimão World Challenge Cup May 9-11 in Portimão, and Balsys, Hantov, Pavilonyte, Slipets, Spata and Trayanov compete in group competition.
