INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 8, 2025) – The USA Gymnastics rhythmic program has announced the athletes selected to compete in the 2025 FIG Rhythmic World Championships August 20-24 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the 2025 World University Games July 17-19 in Essen, Germany.


Rhythmic World Championships

After sweeping all U.S. senior titles at the championships in Rhode Island, Rin Keys secured an automatic spot to the World team. She will be joined in individual competition by 2025 U.S. all-around, hoop and ball silver medalist Megan Chu.

In group competition, Senior National Group members Goda Balsys, Anabella Hantov, Greta Pavilonyte, Anastasia Slipets, Alaini Spata, Kalina Trayanov and Natalia Ye-Granda also were named to the World roster.

World University Games

Two-time Olympian, 2025 U.S. all-around and hoop bronze medalist, and club silver medalist Evita Griskenas will be joined by 2025 U.S. ribbon bronze medalist Sarah Mariotti at the 2025 World University Games in July.

The last time American rhythmic gymnasts competed in the event was in 2019, when Laura Zeng won all-around bronze. Visit rhineruhr2025.com for all information on the competition.
