KITAKYUSHU, Japan (October 17, 2024) – USA Gymnastics on Thursday announced the eight athletes selected to represent the U.S. at the 2024 FIG Parkour World Championships November 15-17 in Kitakyushu, Japan.
In the second edition of the championships, the U.S. will look to secure its first world medals in program history. World Cup gold medalist Audrey Johnson and silver medalist Shea Rudolph headline the eight-gymnast delegation competing in Japan. They will be joined by men’s athletes Matthew Hadley, George Munro and Aiden Rudolph, and Dara DePaolo, Brittney Durant and Jemini Powell on the women’s side. Johnny Brown is the non-traveling replacement athlete.
The 2024 Parkour World Championships will feature parkour action across three days and is a qualifier to the 2025 The World Games in Chengdu, China. Gymnasts will be vying for titles in freestyle and speed competition in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
