INDIANAPOLIS, March 19, 2019 – For the second straight weekend, U.S. gymnasts will be competing against the world’s best in four different events: men’s and women’s individual event World Cup in Doha, Qatar, March 20-23; rhythmic gymnastics’ Corbeil International Tournament in Corbeil-Essones, France, March 22-24; World Cup for acrobatic gymnastics, held in conjunction with the Vegas Acro Cup, in Las Vegas, Nev., March 22-24; and men’s and women’s all-around World Cup in Birmingham, Great Britain, March 23.
Information on each of the events is included below, in chronological order.
World Cup (individual event), Doha, Qatar, March 20-23
2019 Baku World Cup vault and floor exercise gold-medalist Jade Carey of Phoenix, Ariz./Arizona Sunrays, Trevor Howard of Columbus, Ohio/Ohio State University, and Stephen Nedoroscik of Worcester, Mass./Pennsylvania State University, are competing in the 2019 individual event World Cup in Doha, Qatar, March 20-23.
The events the gymnasts are expected to compete are: Carey – floor exercise and vault; Howard – still rings, vault and parallel bars; and Nedoroscik – pommel horse.
Held at the Aspire Dome, the two days of qualifications have two sessions each day: March 20 – 3:30 p.m., men’s floor exercise, pommel horse and still rings, and 4:30 p.m., women’s vault and uneven bars; and March 21 – 3:30 p.m., men’s vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar, and 4:30 p.m., women’s balance beam and floor exercise. The event finals are also split over two days: March 22 – 4 p.m., men’s floor exercise, pommel horse and still rings, and women’s vault and uneven bars; and March 23 – 4 p.m., men’s vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar; women’s balance beam, floor exercise. All times are local to Doha, which is seven hours ahead of the U.S. Eastern time zone.

Corbeil International Tournament, March 23-24, Corbeil-Essones, France
Camilla Feeley of Deerfield, Ill., and Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill., both of North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, will represent the USA in the senior competition at the Corbeil International Tournament, March 22-24, at the Sports Palace in Corbeil-Essones, France. Three members of the U.S. Junior Team are also competing: Alexandria Kautzman of Westlake Village, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics; Victoria Kobelev of Palm Coast, Fla./Rhythmic Art; and Naomi Skotnikov of Highland Park, Ill./Vitrychenko Academy Corp.
The two-day competition begins with the junior all-around on Saturday at 11 a.m. and the senior all-around follows at 6 p.m; and the event finals are Sunday at 1 p.m. Times are local to Corbeil-Essones, which is five hours ahead of the U.S. Eastern time zone. The top eight for each event, with a maximum of two per country, advance to the finals.

World Cup, held as part of Vegas Acro Cup, March 22-24, Las Vegas, Nev.
2019 Maia World Cup women’s pair bronze-medalists Emily Davis and Aubrey Rosilier, both of San Antonio, Texas/Acrobatic Gymnastics of San Antonio, are one of the four U.S. Team of three pairs and one group that will compete at the 2019 World Cup, the first International Gymnastics Federation World Cup for acrobatic gymnastics held in the United States since 2009. Slated for March 22-24 at the Rio Hotel, Casino and Convention Center, the World Cup is part of the Las Vegas (Nev.) Acro Cup, an international invitational for 11 competition levels. Between the two events, more than 1,000 gymnasts from 18 countries will be performing over the three days of competition.
The World Cup competition schedule is: March 22, 6:45 p.m., qualification – women’s pair, mixed pair and men’s group balance routine, and men’s pair and women’s group, dynamic; March 23, 6:30 p.m., qualification – women’s pair, mixed pair and men’s group dynamic routine, and men’s pair and women’s group, balance; and March 24, 5 p.m., finals. All times are U.S. Pactific time. The top eight in each division advance to the finals.
Tickets for the event are available on each competition day at the venue. World Cup tickets are: $15/day or $35 for all three sessions, adult; $10/day or $25/all three sessions, seniors, military, children 6-12; and children under age 6, free.
In addition to Davis and Rosilier, the U.S. Team includes the 2018 U.S. mixed pair silver-medalists Aisley Boynton of Riverside, Calif., and Sean Obley of Mesa, Ariz., who train at Aspire Kids Sports Center; 2018 U.S. men’s pair champions Angel Felix and Braiden McDougall, both of Riverside, Calif./Realis Gymnastics Academy; and the U.S. women’s group of Elanor Chang of Columbia, Md., Grace Vonder Harr of Imperial, Mo., and Kayla Vonder Haar of Imperial, who train at Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer.

Riley McCusker of Brielle, N.J./MG Elite, and Allan Bower of Chandler, Ariz./University of Oklahoma, are representing the United States in the 2019 World Cup in Birmingham, Great Britain, the third of four all-around World Cups in the International Gymnastics Federation’s all-around World Cup Series. Using local British time (four hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time), the men’s all-around begins at 1 p.m. and the women at 6:30 p.m. at Genting Arena.
