CHENGDU, China – Fifteen U.S. gymnasts will represent the country in trampoline and tumbling, acrobatic and parkour competition at the 2025 The World Games August 8-13 in Chengdu, China. After collecting four medals at the last edition of the Games in 2022, the American delegation will look to build on that success in China.
Trampoline and tumbling
The World Games 2022 tumbling champion Kaden Brown headlines the roster set to compete this August. He will be joined by 2025 U.S. tumbling silver medalist Nastia Katchalova in tumbling competition, while 2025 FIG World Cup Series double mini champion Ruben Padilla and two-time U.S. U.S. double mini silver medalist Gracie Harder take on double mini trampoline.
Competing in synchronized trampoline for the U.S. will be 2025 U.S. men’s synchro champions Elijah Vogel and Isaac Rowley, and 2025 U.S. women’s synchro champions Maia Amano and Leah Garafalo.
Acrobatic
In 2022, two of the country’s medals came from the acrobatic program in men’s and women’s pair competition. This year, the 2025 U.S. women’s pair all-around champions Maya Lissenkova and Katie Borcherding, and 2025 U.S. women’s group all-around champions Olivia Green, Rebecca Greenberg and Caylei Caldwell will aim for similar success. Each of the units will compete in balance and dynamic qualifications for a chance to perform a combined routine during finals.
Parkour
Two-time World medalist Audrey Johnson and 2025 World Cup Series freestyle champion Shea Rudolph are on deck for parkour action in China. Both look to claim the country’s first medals in the discipline after it was first added to The World Games lineup in 2022.
