BUCHAREST, Romania, April 9, 2015 – Nastasya Generalova of Los Angeles/California Rhythms, and Ekatherina Kapitonova of Staten Island, N.Y./Isadora, combined for four medals over the weekend at the Bucharest Junior International Tournament.

Generalova finished third in the all-around with a 58.500, just ahead of teammate Kapitonova, 58.450. Generalova also finished second in clubs, 15.000, and third in hoop, 15.100. Kapitonova grabbed the rope bronze with a 14.650.

In the Senior World Cup competition, Serena Lu of Staten Island, N.Y./Isadora, finished 12th in an competitive field that included the reigning World Champion, Yana Kudryavtseva of Russia. She earned scores of 16.750, hoop; 16.850, ball; 17.000, clubs; and 16.250, ribbon; for an all-around total of 66.850. Aliya Protto of Culver City, Calif./California Rhythms, finished 22nd, posting a 63.200.

The U.S. also had athletes participating in the Senior International Tournament in Bucharest. Camilla Feeley of Lincolnshire, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, finished sixth with an all-around total of 62.950. Brigita Budginas of Agoura Hills, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics, scored 58.650 in the all-around for 10th.
