INDIANAPOLIS – 2000 Olympian and three-time Trampoline National Champion Jennifer Parilla and six-time Trampoline National Champion Ryan Weston will attempt to defend their national titles at the U.S. Trampoline & Tumbling Championships, July 13-21, at the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento, Calif.

The U.S. Championships will name the national champions at the Jr. Elite and Sr. Elite levels, while the Jr. Olympic Championships will name national champions in age groups for Levels 5-10. The competition is also the last chance for athletes to earn points toward earning a spot on the National Team, which officially represents the United States at international competitions, such as the T&T World Championships, Oct. 17-19 in Hannover, Germany.

Along with Parilla (Lake Forest, Calif.) and Weston (Pocatlello, Idaho), the event will feature numerous other top competitors, including 2002 World Cup tumbling bronze medalist Casey Finley (Lubbock, Texas) and reigning double-mini national champion Keith Douglas (Grand Rapids, Mich.).

USA Gymnastics T&T consists of four disciplines: Individual Trampoline, Power Tumbling, Double Mini-Trampoline and Synchronized Trampoline. Individual Trampoline became an Olympic discipline at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
