SANTA TECLA, ESA (May 18, 2025) – Led by triple gold medalist Ryan Maccagnan (Colorado Springs, Colo./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy), the American delegation collected three medals on the final day of the 2025 Pan American Championships, ending the weekend with five medals total.

The U.S. men’s pair of Maccagnan and Elijah Vogel (Longmont, Colo./Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics) secured gold Sunday afternoon in the synchronized trampoline final with a 50.420, ahead of Mexico in second (49.560) and Colombia in third (46.210). On the women’s side, Clare Bretscher (Huntsville, Ala./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) and Avery Kroeker (Franklin, Tenn./North Valley Gymnastics) placed seventh in the synchro final with a 17.310.

Later in the evening, Maccagnan clinched his third gold of the championship in the team final after scoring 26 points with Cody Gesuelli (Middletown, N.J./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) and Lourens Willekes (Rockford, Mich./Gymnastics Central) to top the podium. Mexico (24) and Brazil (19) were second and third, respectively.

The American women’s team of Bretscher, Leah Garafalo (Holmdel, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy) and Kennedi Roberts (North Richland Hills, Texas/Southlake Gymnastics Academy) secured team silver with 25 points, just behind the Brazilian team in first with 26 points. The team from Mexico was third with 20 points.
